Network
Photonics Founded
in 1999 and headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, Network Photonics develops
and manufactures all-optical wavelength switching subsystems designed for
DWDM system providers. Based on its CrossWaveTM
technology, Network Photonics solutions enable the dynamic switching of
DWDM wavelengths by integrating demultiplexing, switching and multiplexing
into a single, purely photonic operation. This results in much lower cost
and space requirements by eliminating the need for external DWDM
multiplexers and repeated OEO conversions. CrossWave subsystems are now available for customer and partner testing and Network Photonics will have general product availability in early 2002.
