Omnitron Systems Technology, Inc. designs and
manufactures Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Token Ring and
AS/400 networking hardware. Omnitron's products include
media converters, hubs, switches, transceivers, star-concentrators,
multiplexers, repeaters and baluns. Omnitron's media
converters are stand-alone or chassis-based and support conversions of
multimode and single-mode fiber, UTP, and coax. The 10/100 Ethernet
hubs and switches provide fiber capability. The Token Ring and
AS/400 converter, MAUs, stars and multiplexers feature fiber, UTP and
twinax active retiming repeater technology to support IBM's 5250
protocol. Omnitron's products enable networking between
PCs, workstations and enterprise systems using twisted pair, fiber optic,
coax and twinax cabling.
