Established in 1996, SynCom Network Inc. is a telecommunications company specializing in communications using fiber optical technology. We do R&D and manufacture telecommunications transmission equipment that serves backbone and loop needs. Stationed in Taiwan, we make telecommunications equipment for anyone in the world who needs a reliable broadband transport mechanism. Although a relatively new company, our R&D team is formed by engineers with long time experiences in the US and Taiwan telecommunications industry. Our goal is to develop our own technologies and equipment. With our strength in the R&D area, we are committed to meet our customers' needs with either customization to our existing products or designing and developing new products if economically justified.

Our base line of products is a series of fiber optical transmission equipment ranging from PDH to SDH technologies. We have successfully introduced to the market our first PDH transmission equipment: a series of Fiber Optical Multiplexers (FOM). Our T1 and E1 Fiber Optical Multiplexers and our T3 Fiber Optical Modem are all "type approved" in 1997 by the Telecommunications Labs of Taiwan which has very rigorous testing requirements and procedures. We are the Number 1 Supplier of the FOM to the Taiwan domestic market. Following this success, our SDH series product line is introduced this Year. The SDH line of product includes a SDH-DLC, a full STM-1, and a scaled STM-1. This line of product will fill a customer's needs for both backbone and loop arena. To aid our customer to manage a subnetwork composed of this series of products, we have provided a sophisticated Graphical Craft Interface solution that is based on the PC. A user may remotely manage the entire subnetwork with a single console.
