TEGS manufactures precision glass and glass-metallic tubes, rods, mono and
poly-capillaries, complex
micro and nanostructures, microstructured and
photonic crystal fibers
of arbitrary cross sections geometries.
Our
advanced technology allows to manufacture precision products with
minimal sizes of the
structural elements of products as small as 0.1 microns
(tolerance of 0.5-1%),
with cross sections from 100 microns to 50 mm, and
length from 0.5 mm to 3000 mm.
The
materials used are glasses, compound glasses (for example: molybdenum
glass, boro-silicate
glass, lead glass, phosphate glass, and others),
structured glasses with
low-temperature melted metals.
Equipment
TEGS develops and manufactures machinery to produce the precise glass and
silica products
described. (Drawing towers, Sintering machine)
The machinery is designed
to fabricate precise tubes, rods, and capillaries
of any shapes from glass
blocks, rods, tubes or complex bundles using
advanced drawing
technique. The equipment can include compact smelting
furnace.
Sintering machine is
designed for sintering of multichannel plates and
filters, which are made
from glass rods or tubes.
Applications
The
microstructures manufactured find their applications in X-ray optics,
microoptics,
micromechanics, elecronics and optoelectronics, new material
manufacturing,
microlithography (masks), microchannel structures
and others.
