OpsiTech launches competitive Mux/Demux and interleaver GRENOBLE,
France - OpsiTech SA, a supplier of high-performance integrated
optical components and modules for optical networking systems, today
announced the launch of its competitive Multiplexer/DeMultiplexer and
interleaver families. These first product lines based on an advanced
silica-on-silicon AWG technology offer the largest range of dense channel
spacing passive optical components ideal for flexible, scalable and
cost-effective DWDM optical transmissions. The
Mux/DeMux series include high-channel-count 200GHz, 100GHz and 50GHz Mux/Demux
with low insertion loss, low crosstalk and superior PMD et PDL
performances. The components are available in channel count from 8 to 40. In
addition, the highest range of channel outputs (2, 4 and 8) 25GHz, 50GHz
and 100GHz interleaver series feature highly competitive performances at
10Gbit/s. An unsurpassed new 25GHz-100GHz interleaver efficiently
demultiplexes (or demultiplexes) 25GHz spaced channels into four sets of
100GHz spaced channels. "OpsiTech's
components and modules are designed to meet the stringent performance and
low-cost requirements of todays metro and long haul optical networking
companies", said Patrick Mottier, President and COO of OpsiTech SA.
"by combining the 25GHz-100GHz interleaver and four 40-channels Mux/Demux
OpsiTech enables economical high-data-rate OC-192 transmissions". About
