Rochester,
MN – Domaille Engineering LLC, a worldwide provider of micro
precision engineering and manufacturing services to technology industries
and a leading manufacturer of optical fiber polishing equipment, has
announced the appointment of Peter M. Herman as its new chief executive
officer and a member of the company’s board of directors. Herman
was most recently at Pemstar, Inc. and held the position of executive vice
president of engineering and ProCenter operations. In this role, he was responsible for managing a worldwide
organization of over 250 people that included product development, new
product introduction and corporate technology development. Pemstar
specializes in engineering, manufacturing and fulfillment services. Prior
to Pemstar, Herman worked at IBM where he held positions in development
engineering, technology/research engineering, and process engineering for
hard disk drives and the AS/400. Herman,
40, received his Mechanical Engineering degree from South Dakota School of
Mines and Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
He also holds ten patents. “Domaille

extension of my prior responsibilities and I’m anxious to begin pursuing
