Gloriole Electroptic Technology Corp. introduces its new manually operated VOA featuring easy accessibility to set or change attenuation levels

Gloriole’s Variable Optical Attenuator proprietary design combines the principles of separation, offset, spot size mismatch and angular tilt to increase or decreases optical power by rotating the right-hand side of the device. The left-hand side remains fixed at its original position.  The”twist-by-hand”  fixing screw locks and secures the desired attenuation in place. Attenuation ranges include 0.5-12 dB and 0.5-20 dB, singlemode, dual wavelength with a 0.1dB  resolution. Custom designs welcome. Cable options offered in 0.9mm, 3mm or 2mm with or without industry standard connectors.
