Integrated Tap VOA From Oluma Inc Introduced by BFi OPTiLAS

Evry, France December 2002 - BFi OPTiLAS, a pan- European specialist distributor, have introduced  a revolutionary new Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) with integrated Tap and Photodiode from Oluma. Oluma, Inc., is an optical component company that designs, markets, and manufactures a suite of high performance optical products based on Oluma?s patented platform.

The Tap/VOA (TVOA) brings further capability to Oluma?s remote sensing product portfolio. The low power requirements of the VOA combined with the integrated photodiode for power monitoring allow reduced fiber handling and splicing for high-density network applications.
